Since the family company was founded in 1962 by Rudolf Läderach, the philosophy of “Läderach – chocolatier suisse” has been delight in quality. The hardworking pastry chef and confectioner wished to simplify his colleagues’ craft and invented the hollow chocolate ball. The semifinished product entailed an improvement in the quality of the truffle and simplified production. With the subsequent enthusiasm of industry colleagues, the foundation stone for the success of Läderach was laid.
